Batomon Showdown Items and Trinkets Guide
Items fire when you buy them. Trinkets sit in the bag. Mixing those verbs is how shops stall.
Batomon Showdown splits shop power into two piles that new players mash together. Items resolve the moment you purchase them. They are not equipment you click in combat. Trinkets usually stay in the bag, can stack, and sometimes spend themselves into a used pile after they fire. Merges are the most reliable trinket faucet: completing a level recipe opens a trinket gift. This page is the catalog filter. Gold math is on shop and merging and the economy sheet.
The current snapshot lists 41 items and 57 trinkets. Launch on September 15, 2026 is advertised with more of both. Until those names exist, play these.
Items: one-shot shop spells
Typical shop: four Batomon and one Item while you still have an item use. Shopkeeper stocks items one rarity higher and 15 percent cheaper. Membership Card’s current text is one additional item use today. Tote Bag adds two uses. Several berries (Nana, Pom, Shiny) also refund a use. That refund is why Berroon cores print so many clicks: On Battle Start, the next 1/2/3 shop items become berries.
Useful verbs, by job:
- Reroll the pool: Gray / Green / Blue / Purple / Golden / Crimson Tickets force a shop of one rarity. Fake Coin is a free reroll. Voucher yanks a random current shop monster for $5.
- Change rank: Basic Bait lowers rank (Common, $0). Apex Bait raises it (Uncommon, $20). Rank-down is how Formiqueen Commons stay legal. Rank-up is how you hunt Rares you cannot afford yet.
- Feed a type: Battery Pack (Electric Shock), Black Sludge (Toxic Poison), Hot Pepper (Fire Burn), Mystic Pearl (Water Heal), Shiny Pebble (Rock Shield).
- Skip a merge: Basic Candy $30, Rare Candy $40, Ultra Candy $60 (Mythical). Magic Mirror $120 copies a plain level 3 without permanent buffs, once per day.
- Print a body: Recruiting Flyer $90 for a random level 3 Uncommon. Lootbox $30 for a random Legendary. Magic Lasso $50 copies the enemy’s top-middle unit next fight, once per day.
Red Coin is +$20 and −1 life. That is a 10-win decision, not a default click. Coffee ($5, Super Rare) makes On Battle Start fire an extra time next fight — it is a Berroon/Craghorn and Draconarch tool, which is why a patch had to make Coffee trigger Berroon correctly.
Black Feather shows in the current catalog as a Mythical $30 +1 Multicast item. An earlier demo pass removed a cheaper multicast feather that deleted games. If a guide still treats it as a Common shop staple, it is stale. See patch notes.
The embedded video is a Craghorn item-eat session. Craghorn (Uncommon Grass/Rock, $30 after the nerf) gains damage and shield whenever you use an item. If you lock Shopkeeper plus Membership Card plus Berroon berries, he is the point of the shop. If you never click items, he is a $30 statue. Positioning notes are on the team planner.
Trinkets: the bag
Trinkets drop from merges, events, and a few items (Dowsing Rod chooses a Common trinket gift; Purple/Golden/Crimson Gifts roll higher rarities). Duplicators (Mini, Mega, Ultra) copy non-unique trinkets only. Unique pieces will not clone. Upgrade Disc fires once per buy even if you stacked discs. Echo Bell only helps 0-cost items. Market License is a trinket that raises shop rank; Shady Contract style effects lower rank and pay gold.
Haste bells, crowns, orbs, and crests change cooldown speed. Power pieces change damage. Economy pieces (Piggy Bank, Gold Bar, Gold-o-matic) change tomorrow’s shop. Read the bag before you buy a unit that needs a trinket you already spent.
How to spend uses without dying
- If a berry or 0-cost item feeds Craghorn or refunds a use, click it before a $30 candy.
- If Formiqueen needs Commons, spend rank-down, not Apex Bait.
- If Chemist needs levels, candies and merges beat a random Lootbox. See Poison builds.
- If you are hunting a sparkle, Shiny Berry is $1 Mythical and random. See the shiny guide.
- Day 5+ losses cost 3 lives. Do not Red Coin for fun.
Events are extra shops with better verbs. A Bug Collector or Dragon Tamer can skip an item gate entirely. Pair this page with events and the trainer hub — Shopkeeper is the lock that makes the item slot matter.
