Batomon Showdown Android, iOS, and Playing on a Phone

The most common mobile question is “can I play Batomon Showdown on my phone on launch day.” The honest answer from developer posts: Android is planned on Google Play the same day as the Steam release, September 15, 2026. iOS is planned, but App Store approval was already slipping in the August 31 Steam news, so it is not guaranteed to land with Steam. This page is the platform caution. Windows specs and languages stay on release and platforms. Controls stay on controls.

We will not invent a Play Store package name. Pre-register links were posted on Steam news and in the official Discord. Use those. This wiki does not host expired Google forms.

What exists today versus what is planned

Until the Play listing is actually live, there is no public Android client you can install from this page. An Android closed test ran earlier; Google requires a closed-test window, and testers were picked from a Discord form. If you were not selected, you wait with everyone else.

itch.io hosted a browser demo that some people stretched onto tablets. That is not the ranked Steam client and not the Play Store build. Matchmaking, MMR, and Season 0 cosmetics live in the online app, not in a leftover HTML5 zip. Season 0 is the demo calendar.

Steam itself is Windows only. No macOS, no Linux on the store flags. Steam Deck users in the demo era reported better results in desktop mode than in the default overlay. That is player report, not a Deck Verified badge. Compatibility was still listed as unknown.

Cross-save, cross-play, cross-rank

Public posts we trust do not confirm:

Play each platform as its own profile until berrymint writes the opposite. If you grind Gold on PC for a badge case skin, do not uninstall Steam expecting the phone to remember it.

The game is still asynchronous PvP against saved boards. A phone does not turn it into real-time 1v1. It also does not add local shared-screen play. How to play is the same loop: untimed shop, six Batomon, Battle, 10 wins or lives.

How a phone shop should feel

There is no shop timer on PC. There should not be one on Android. If a mobile build adds a countdown, that is a new rule and we will patch this page. Until then, the skill is still hover-equivalent: tap to inspect, drag to position, do not mash Battle while copies sit on the bench.

Touch targets matter more than keyboard Shift-inspect. If the first Play build hides Batopedia behind a tiny icon, use the in-game settings before you blame matchmaking. Extra item uses, Lock, and Reroll still cost the same gold. The economy sheet does not care whether your thumb or a mouse spent the $3.

Battery Pack, Black Sludge, and berries still resolve on purchase. A smaller screen makes it easier to miss the Item slot. Shopkeeper players should look at that slot first. Items and trinkets.

iOS and “same day” risk

August 31 news: Android planned with Steam; iOS “having trouble getting approved,” future release promised, same-day not guaranteed. If you only own an iPhone, wishlist Steam for a PC or wait. Do not buy a gray-market APK. Official channels are Steam, Play (when live), and Discord.

Launch morning will be noisy. If Android is late by a day, that is a store post, not a wiki conspiracy. We will update this page when a live Play URL and a version number exist. Until then, treat mobile as announced, not as a second client you can already grind.
