Batomon Showdown Batomon Tier List

This Batomon Showdown tier list is a shop filter for Balance 14. It ranks how often a name deserves gold on a random board, then calls out the cores that promote a lower-rarity unit. It is not a Pokédex and it is not a promise that the shop will show Onsetra. Pair it with the comp list and the combat guide. Launch on September 15, 2026 will add more sets; until those names exist in the catalog, they stay off this page.

S — build around these if they appear

Formiqueen (Rare Bug) is a team-speed card. Ongoing: adjacent Common allies gain cooldown speed (25/50/75 percent after the nerf). She is not a solo carry. She is the reason Commons become a plan. Park Bumblebolt and friends on her sides.

Onsetra (Legendary Dragon) makes the ally behind apply Ongoing extra times. That sentence is the whole unit. Behind Formiqueen, she is S. Behind a random attacker with no Ongoing, she is a 100-damage statue with a 4s cooldown.

Berroon (Uncommon Grass) currently berries the next 1/2/3 shop items on battle start. That is a shop engine. Craghorn (Uncommon Grass/Rock) gains damage and shield when you use an item. Together they are the item core. Craghorn now costs $30; do not pretend the old $25 tag is live.

Dryadell (Super Rare Grass) triggers the Grass ally above on cast. She is S in the Berroon/Grass vertical, average if you bought her as “big number.”

Plunderbird (Uncommon Water/Flying) heals, multicasts, and gains $1 on cast. Torrantler (Legendary Water) heals 200 and triggers adjacent Water except other Torrantler. Sirenade (Super Rare Water) heals and strips 20 percent of debuffs. That trio is the Water economy core. Swim Coach feeding random Water each day promotes the whole set.

Bumblebolt (Common Bug/Electric) is the poster Common: 2.5s, Shock, cheap. With Formiqueen haste and Battery Pack, it is an S-tier engine piece. Alone, it is a fine early body.

A — excellent with the right trainer or event

Guardiant, Brawlmantis, Gildshell spike when Bug Catcher or a Bug Collector event hands you a buffed copy (level 2 Guardiant, Gildshell with bonus damage, Brawlmantis with extra Multicast). Brawlmantis also matters for Mad Scientist because multicast can carry into the day-7 Legendary roll.

Bambudo, Dribblet, Emperooze, Joltail show up hot in recent meta lists. Buy them when their trigger matches the board you already have, not because a leaderboard widget printed the name in bold. Read the card. If you cannot explain the trigger in one sentence, hover-highlight until you can. Controls shows where that highlight lives.

Ironcore charges adjacent Electric. It is A in Shock, skip elsewhere. Boomagon and other dragons are A only if Draconarch-style Start of Battle chains exist; Boomagon’s cooldown was lengthened to 7s.

Status specialists (Fire burners, Toxic poisoners) are A on Chef, Redhead, or Chemist and C on Youngster if they do not merge. See Shock builds and the trainer guide.

B — fine copies, dangerous uniques

Most Commons and Uncommons that complete a 3-copy recipe are B-tier purchases even if the unit is not famous. Level 2 plus a trinket gift is real. A lonely Super Rare with no trigger friends is a B that pretends to be S. Wishwash was buffed with sell value and combat because it was a trinket-farm tool; buy it as economy, not as a closer.

Eggs (Dragon Egg, Purple Egg) are timers. Egg Breeder’s Purple Egg hatches Super Rare in 4 days. Play B until it hatches, then re-evaluate. Do not starve the rest of the board to protect an egg that is not even a unit yet.

C — need a speech to justify

High-cost units that do not match trainer, core, or copies. Mythical names you cannot legally show to low-rank matchmaking anyway. Dirgefin, Reapra, Celestia are Master-pool problems; owning them in Gold will not teach you what Master sees. See mythical builds.

Removed or reworked shop pieces (Voltalith out of pool, Black Feather removed in spring) are not C-tier. They are absent. If a guide still tells you to buy them, it is stale. Patch notes win arguments.

How to argue with this list in the shop

Your trainer can promote a C to A. Your copies can promote a B to S for this run. Your lives can demote an S to “do not greed.” Day 5 3-life losses do not care that Onsetra is Legendary. The 10-win guide is the override. If two S units fight for one slot, keep the one whose trigger is currently lighting up neighbors. Then press Battle. A tier list that survives contact with the hover highlight is the only tier list that matters.

For opening picks, use the trainer tier list. For full cores, use comps. For gold discipline, use the economy tool. This page only names the creatures.
