Batomon Showdown Tier Lists
Rank units and cores for the current catalog, not for last season’s VOD.
This hub holds every ranking page on the wiki. Batomon Showdown does not publish an official ladder of creatures. What we can rank is observed: the current catalog (88 Batomon, 17 trainers, 57 trinkets), Balance 14 / Steam build 24914580, and the cores that keep finishing 10-win runs in public ranked samples. A tier list is a shop filter. It is not a promise that Bambudo appears on day 1.
Open the Batomon tier list when you need to know which names deserve gold. Open the trainer tier list when the opening three cards include both a free-reroll economy and a day-9 spike. Open the comp list when you already have a pair and need to know which engine those pairs belong to. If you are still learning the buttons, skip this hub and go back to Getting Started.
How we rank without lying
We weight 10-win finish rate over pick rate. A unit that shows up everywhere but rarely trophies is a tourist. A unit that shows up in a smaller sample but converts is a core. Recent public samples put three S+ cores in front: Bumblebolt + Onsetra (Formiqueen), Craghorn + Dryadell (Berroon), and Torrantler + Sirenade (Plunderbird). Those are not the only winning boards. They are the boards you should recognize in the shop so you can stop buying a fourth unrelated Super Rare.
Top observed Batomon names in the same window include Bambudo, Bumblebolt, Dribblet, Emperooze, Guardiant, and Joltail. Treat that as a heat map. Guardiant can be a Bug Collector event gift at level 2; that does not make every other Bug a must-buy. Always read the trigger. Formiqueen wants adjacent Commons. Onsetra wants a specific “behind” slot. Dryadell wants Grass above. Torrantler wants adjacent Water except copies of itself. If the slot is wrong, the tier is a lie for your board. The combat guide and team planner exist so you can test the slot before Battle.
Ranked context that changes a letter grade
Matchmaking withholds Mythical-held runs from non-Master Ranked, withholds Dirgefin / Reapra / Celestia from non-Master, and softens Casual and low-tier snapshots. A Master VOD of a 30-win Extended board is entertainment. It is not a Bronze shopping list. See how to play and mythical builds. If you are still unlocking Ranked, you need a Casual 10-win first; star math is on ranks.
Patches move letters. Formiqueen’s cooldown-speed aura was nerfed from 33/67/100 to 25/50/75. Craghorn’s cost went to $30. Boomagon, Guardiant, Mosslug, Stingarde cooldowns moved. Berroon was reworked more than once and currently berries the next shop items on battle start. If a YouTube title predates August 2026, check patch notes before you copy the exact gold costs.
How to use a tier list in the untimed shop
- Look at your trainer. Bug Catcher upgrades Bug names. Chemist upgrades Toxic. Chef and Redhead upgrade Fire. Swim Coach injects Water. Shopkeeper upgrades items. A C-tier Water unit on Swim Coach can be A-tier for that run. The trainer hub owns that interaction.
- Look at copies. A B-tier Common you already have two of is an A-tier purchase because level 3 plus a trinket gift is real power. Merge math is on shop and merging.
- Look at day number. Day 2 greed is how you arrive at day 5 with 4 lives. The 10-win guide is the life budget.
- Look at the core pages, not only the unit page. Buying Onsetra without an Ongoing ally is buying a statue.
What this hub will not do
We will not invent a 50-row S++ list for every trinket. Trinkets are situational: duplicators cannot copy unique pieces anymore, Echo Bell is for 0-cost items, Membership Card is an extra item use. Those notes belong next to the core that uses them. We will not rank unreleased launch-set creatures we have not seen. September 15, 2026 adds more sets; when the catalog updates, these pages update. Until then, play the 88 names that exist.
If two pages disagree, the more specific page wins: comps beat unit letters, unit letters beat vibes, patch notes beat all of us. Then go play a shop. A tier list that you never spend gold against is fan fiction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which Batomon Showdown tier list should I open first?
The comp list if you already know the shop, or the Batomon list if you only need buy/skip names.
Is this an official ranking?
No. It is an unofficial filter based on the public catalog and observed 10-win cores in Balance 14.
Why does a YouTube S-tier unit feel weak in my games?
Low ranks see softened boards, and your slots may not match the trigger. Recheck combat and patch notes.
